Do QR codes expire?
No, QR codes generated with our tool never expire. They are static QR codes that work forever. The only way a QR code would stop working is if the destination (like a website URL) is no longer available.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely. All QR code generation happens 100% in your browser (client-side). Your data, including WiFi passwords, contact information, and URLs, is never sent to our servers. We take privacy seriously.
What types of QR codes can I create?
You can create QR codes for: Website URLs, WiFi networks, Contact cards (vCard), WhatsApp messages, Email, SMS, Phone calls, Calendar events, Locations (Google Maps), Social media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Spotify), Payments (PayPal, Bitcoin), and Restaurant menus.
Can I add my logo to the QR code?
Yes! You can upload any logo or image to place in the center of your QR code, completely free. We automatically adjust the error correction level to ensure your QR code remains scannable.
What size should I print my QR code?
For general use, we recommend a minimum of 2x2 cm (0.8x0.8 inches). For scanning from a distance, increase the size proportionally. A good rule: the scanning distance should be about 10 times the QR code width.
Can I create multiple QR codes at once?
Yes! Our batch generator allows you to create multiple QR codes simultaneously. Simply switch to Batch mode in the header, add your URLs, and download them all as a ZIP file.
What format should I download for printing?
For printing, we recommend SVG (vector format) as it can be scaled to any size without losing quality. For web use, PNG works great. PDF is useful for direct printing with proper margins.
Why won't my QR code scan?
Common issues: 1) QR code is too small - try printing larger. 2) Poor contrast between colors - use dark QR on light background. 3) Logo is too big - reduce logo size. 4) Blurry print - use SVG format for better quality.
Do I need an account to use this?
No account or signup is required. You can start creating QR codes immediately. We save your history locally in your browser for convenience, but this is optional and can be cleared anytime.
